It’s time for !! Today we are introducing our awesome Office Manager, Tanya Haun!! 🦾

1. How long have you been with Metro and what is your position?

“13 years. I am the Office Manager for the Baltimore/Nottingham Office.”

2. What do you enjoy most about your job?

“The people that I work with.....they are like my family! I also love that many of our patients feel so comfortable with us that they talk to us and treat us like friends and family.”

3. What inspired you to get into this field?

“I started working with Metro when my husband started working with Metro. I had been a stay-at-home mother for a number of years with my 3 young children, but I was looking to get back into the workforce. I used to work for CMS before I had children, and have a background in Budget, Performance Management, and Compliance. So, coming to work for Metro as an Office Manager was a great fit for me.”

4. What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

“I am really good at hula hooping.“ 💙

“I have been with Metro for 3 years and i’m an O&P Technician.”

2. What do you enjoy most about your job?helping others return to some sort of normalcy

“My father was an amputee and it inspired me to help others like him.”

3. What inspired you to get into this field?

“I enjoy spending time with my 6 grandkids, and love to golf.” 💙

“I started with Metro in July 2017. I am an administrative assistant.”

“I love being able to build relationships with our patients. You get to know their families and always have something to talk about on a personal level with them.”

3. What inspired you to get into this field?

“Seeing it make my uncle so happy, it made me want to be a part of it.”

4. What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

“I would love to have a farm. But for now I have 2 bunnies and a dog.“

Say hello to Lucas Kendzierski, one of our talented Orthotic and Prosthetic Technicians here at Metro Prosthetics! 👋💙

1. How long have you been with Metro and what is your position?

“Just over 3 years. I’m a Prosthetic and Orthotic technician.”

2. What do you enjoy most about your job?

“Giving patients the ability to regain their independence and seeing children’s faces light up with their device and take their first steps.”

3. What inspired you to get into this field?

“To be completely honest it just fell into my lap, one day I was headed home from my old job and got a call from one of the practitioners and they said they needed a tech and he thought of me with my engineering background and hand skills and figured I’d be a great fit.”

4. What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

“I enjoy doing 3D modeling and 3D printing in my spare time.”

From running across the country — Camp Pendleton to Parris Island — to conquering the Baltimore and New York Marathons, Gene Roberts continues to defy limits. Now fitted with his new running blades and knee, he’s still going strong, even running a 10K with his grandson just months ago. 💪
