Well-Being Coach

Job Description

LOCATION: Baltimore, MD

SUMMARY:
The Well-Being Coach provides holistic coaching to participants focusing on the following key areas of well-being: physical, emotional, career, financial and social. The Well-Being Coach will conduct coaching sessions, predominantly by phone, and may facilitate health education seminars, small group discussions and other on-site events as needed in the Baltimore metro area.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides telephonic coaching sessions to participants
2. Provide follow-up and monitors all cases to ensure participant is making appropriate progress towards goals
3. Maintain accurate and complete documentation in BHS customized database
4. Facilitate on-site health and education seminars, small group discussions and other onsite interactive events
5. Assist with projects to enhance the professional development of the coaching team and offers ideas for improving internal processes and efficiencies

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Bachelors Degree in a health, wellness or behavioral health related field. Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years life and/or wellness coaching experience.
• Completion of an ICF accredited coaching program and/or coaching certification is strongly preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of coaching theory, skills and techniques
• Strong active listening skills in order to identify and leverage client’s motivation for change
• Able to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Proficient in Word and Outlook

Titles of trainings include: Employee Engagement Matters, Communicating to Reduce Stress, Creating Strategies for Better Sleep and Recharge for a More Productive You. We are looking for committed, seasoned facilitators who are experienced in a variety of health, wellness, and employee productivity topics... and who are able to flex their individual style and work with dedicated staff to provide an extraordinary experience. Sessions are designed between 30 and 60 minutes and promote an interactive/engaging experience, unless otherwise noted.
