MedStar Harbor Hospital, a 179-bed hospital, offers the services of a large, regional medical center in a smaller, more personal environment, conveniently located minutes from downtown Baltimore. After more than a century of healing, MedStar Harbor Hospital has grown alongside the communities it serves in Baltimore City, and Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Howard counties. From general medicine and surgery, obstetrics, orthopedics and geriatrics to cardiology, gastroenterology and urology, our team of caring physicians and associates serves the unique needs of every patient. The hospital’s continuum of care, for patients from infancy through the senior years, also includes wellness programs, outpatient services and inpatient treatment. Founded: We have been attending to the health needs of the community since 1903 and have proudly served our neighbors from our present home overlooking the Patapsco River for more than three decades. Dr. Patel is a board-certified internal medicine physician, and her areas of clinical interest include cardiometabolic health, multimorbidity disease management, obesity management, preventive medicine, and risk stratification.
