For busy families, access to care can make all the difference.

“Both of our girls went through a miserable stretch of passing pink eye back and forth, and as a parent, it felt like we were constantly trying to stay one step ahead. We knew it wasn’t an emergency, but primary care visits were booked for weeks, and our urgent care centers were packed.

We were exhausted and out of options. Then I remembered the MedStar eVisit app I had downloaded “just in case.” I checked the list of conditions, saw pink eye included, and decided to give it a try. We snapped a quick photo of our daughter’s eye, uploaded it, and within minutes, we were talking to a clinician who had already reviewed everything.

She was kind, reassuring, and immediately sent a prescription for medicated drops to our preferred pharmacy. It was honestly one of the easiest, smoothest care experiences we’ve ever had—fast, comforting, and exactly what our family needed.

I can’t recommend MedStar eVisit enough for virtual urgent care.” - Brenda Wolcott, community health system manager at MedStar Health

Having access to trusted care after hours can make all the difference for families.

“When my 13-year-old daughter injured her ankle during an evening soccer practice, it was too late to visit urgent care. Her ankle was swollen and painful, and I was worried it might affect her ability to do the things she loves long-term. I tried MedStar eVisit for peace of mind—and it was the best decision I could’ve made.

The app was incredibly easy to use; once I entered the insurance information, we were connected with a provider within minutes. The video quality was excellent, and the provider was calm, kind, and thorough. She reassured us, gave clear care instructions, and even sent notes to urgent care for a follow-up the next day.

The whole process saved us hours of anxiety and an unnecessary trip to the ER. MedStar eVisit gave me confidence that I was doing the best for my child and saved me from a sleepless night of worry. I would absolutely recommend it—quick, professional care right from home when you need it most.” - Robin Fuchs
