Maryland ACEP

Maryland ACEP MD ACEP exists to support quality emergency medical care and promote the needs and interests of emergency physicians. Maryland ACEP is you.

The Maryland ACEP Board of Directors and Committee Members are a very diverse group of practicing emergency physicians. They include academicians, private practice physicians, large group, small group, individual physicians, board certified, non-board certified, rural, urban, residents, democrats, republicans, independents, young fresh members, and older mature members. Our Board represents all practice settings and the full range of emergency medicine experience. This diversity and unity gives us strength to pursue our common goals.

🍷 Your Voice Matters—Join Us at the Maryland ACEP Legislative Reception!

Emergency medicine is shaped by policy—and policy is shaped by relationships.

At our annual Legislative Reception at Red Red Wine Bar (Annapolis), you’ll have the opportunity to speak face-to-face with key Maryland legislators and their staff about the issues directly impacting emergency medicine: workplace violence, boarding, EMTALA, reimbursement, and more.

Good evening everyone.

The President Mike Bond, Executive Director Adriana Alvarez and myself (Kerry Forrestal-President Elect) wanted to reach out and ask two simple questions.

1. "How can we better serve the interests of our members?

2. What might be holding back non-members from joining?

These are challenging times before us with the AHEAD model changes, HR1 cuts to medical funding, the anti-vax impact on public health and the list goes on.

The more of us there are working together, the more of an impact we can have.

Thanks in advance for your answers. If you don't want to put a post up, Private message directly or we can anonymize your post.
