The Baltimore Station turns lives around. Volunteers are a crucial part of The Baltimore Station’s success.

The Baltimore Station is an innovative therapeutic residential and outpatient treatment program supporting veterans who are overcoming obstacles to regain self-sufficiency. We are an innovative therapeutic residential and outpatient treatment program supporting veterans who are overcoming obstacles to regain self-sufficiency. Volunteers provide and serve meals, organize in-kind donation drives, co

ordinate service projects, and lead classes for our residents. In 2022, we had 1,430 volunteers serve 176 meals amounting to over $45,000 saved from those meal services! Volunteers truly make a difference in our men’s lives and on their journey to recovery.

Students from McDonogh School give back to our vets through their monthly visits to The Baltimore Station for service projects and social time with our clients. On a recent visit, students participated in our drama and improv group, then served up an amazing lunch of shrimp lo mein! 🎭🍜

Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, from Morgan State University, cooked and served dinner for our clients. 🎉

Their Alpha Delta chapter is celebrating 100 years of community service and support by volunteering throughout the region -- our men loved the food and the energy they brought!

To celebrate , we are giving every volunteer a flower seed packet as a way of saying “Thank you for helping us grow!” 🌷

The team from Brown Advisory returned to The Baltimore Station for an outstanding dinner for our clients. Their volunteers whipped up chili and cornbread, which our clients raved about! 🍲

We're so grateful to their team for their hard work and enthusiasm!

A HUGE THANK YOU to the members of MyBGE’s Exelon Military Actively Connected employee resource group who came to The Baltimore Station to retire our old flags and replace them with new ones. 🇺🇸 Together, we replaced three flags outside, bringing dignity back to the facade of our facility.
❤️ U.S. Flag – symbolizing unity and freedom
💛 Maryland Flag – for local pride and community
🖤 POW/MIA Flag – in remembrance and accountability for those who did not return home
