We are blessed every November when local formal dress business Love It At Stella’s Bridal chooses Springboard for their month of gratitude. For every dress sold in November a portion is donated to our Domestic Violence Program. As weddings should be a fairy tale moment that is the beginning of a journey, Love It At Stella’s Bridal understands that not all fairy tales end in a happy ending. Thank you for your continued support to our agency and the community.

On Tuesday, December 9th, the Carroll Springboard Team proudly hosted our first-ever Table of Thanks event honoring the incredible first responders who serve our community. We were thrilled to provide 40 complimentary meals as a small token of appreciation for their dedication and sacrifice. A special thank you to Mission BBQ, Chick-fil-A, and Olive Garden for the delicious food, and to Food Lion for generously donating refreshments and desserts. Your support helped make this event truly meaningful. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back to those who give so much.

We are so proud to share that Daniela Hernandez, our Carroll County Bilingual Domestic Violence Advocate, was invited to speak to McDaniel College’s Women in Latin America class during their final week of the semester.
After studying domestic violence and the term femicidio—a word used throughout Latin America to describe gender-based killings of women—students had the opportunity to hear directly from someone doing this critical work every day.
As a dedicated Domestic Violence Advocate, Daniela brought insight, compassion, and strength to the conversation. She shared how Springboard supports and empowers survivors by connecting them with vital resources and walking beside them as they rebuild safe, secure lives in the face of enormous challenges.
The students were deeply engaged, asking thoughtful questions and showing a genuine desire to understand the realities survivors face. Daniela’s commitment to our community—her willingness to educate, raise awareness, and advocate fiercely—makes a real and lasting impact.
We are grateful for Daniela’s heart, her voice, and her unwavering dedication. With staff like her, we remain a powerful force of support for all victims of violence

Built on a bedrock of integrity, compassion, and responsiveness, Springboard Community Services continues to be an innovative, agile, and comprehensive provider of services — many of which are free or low-fee — that span the life cycle, from supporting expectant mothers to caring for the at-risk elderly. Through a broad mix of case management, counseling, and support, we provide not only a safety net but a springboard to those who need it most. Our mission: Break the cycle of poverty, abuse, and despair, one person, one family, one generation at a time.
A 501(c) non-profit organization, Springboard has 6 locations in Baltimore City and the surrounding five counties, including multiple counseling offices and two medical adult daycares. We are the on-site mental health provider at the Child Advocacy Centers (CAC) in Carroll, Harford, and Howard counties, with a formal partnership with CACs in Baltimore County. We are also the identified domestic violence provider for Carroll County and West Baltimore County.
Springboard Community Services is licensed to practice as an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic with immediate appointment openings in Baltimore City, Carroll, Harford, and Howard counties. As a licensed clinic, we offer the continuum of mental health care provided by a multidisciplinary team including social workers, counselors, nurse practitioners, case managers and a psychiatrist who specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry. We provide a broad array of trauma-informed services for individuals and families along their life course from children through senior citizens.
