Connection comes from showing up. Last April, we launched our Street Medicine Program. Since then, we’ve seen that trust grows through small moments — a hello, listening and returning again and again. These moments create space for care, even in tough conditions.

Cuts to Medicaid don’t reduce the need for care — they reduce access to it.

When people lose coverage, they often turn to hospitals for care, which are the most expensive places to get treatment. The resulting costs are absorbed by the health care system and ultimately show up as higher insurance premiums for everyone in Maryland.

That isn’t a personal failure. It’s a policy choice with system‑wide consequences. This legislative session, policymakers have an opportunity to protect affordable care by fully funding Medicaid. Share this video to raise awareness and call on policymakers to protect Medicaid.

Ready...Set...Pap!👟 Our medical team is on a mission to screen 60% of eligible clients for cervical cancer this year. To keep up the momentum, we held a race to assemble Pap prep kits (Medical Assistants created 20 kits in 8 minutes!) and recognized staff for helping clients complete this important screening.

We're proud to stand with our Maryland Behavioral Health Coalition partners to demand that Maryland "keep the door open" to mental health and substance use care.🚪🔑

Last week, staff and clients testified at hearings and met with legislators to champion disability assistance programs, behavioral health funding, and the health and housing budgets.
