If you're a company of 50 full-time or more employees(part-time included in this)- It will be a required that you either offer your employees Affordable Health Insurance that include the ten essential benefits or you will pay a fine for each employee. When calculating the first 50 Full-time employees, it will not included the first 30 but it will factor in the part-time employees into the equation.

So for companies that wish to avoid this situation, their course of action will be to cut employees hours to make them part-time. So on top of the payroll tax increase we all will start seeing, you might be working 25 hours a week instead of your usual..
