I practice integrative endocrinology in a boutique, highly personalized manner, and I address not only the physical symptoms (and I use the most current and up-to-date information when it comes to hormonal health including, but not limited to glucose challenge test, insulin health, heart rate variability), but also, the emotional and spiritual components of healing (this has nothing to do with religion, but rather with a constant search for meaning), that usually go unaddressed in a conventional practice. Patients that do best with my approach are the ones that are constantly driven to feel better, the ones that have escaped the "victim" mentality and are looking for guidance on an unfolding journey, rather than for a savior, or one unique pill that will solve all the problems. They are willing to explore not only what their bodies are telling them through "dis-ease" but also their emotions and their life's purpose.
