Recently, while listening to the amazing present on body inclusivity in practice, it dawned on me that we need to be louder and clearer about the ways we are body inclusive at Pelvic Pride.

She talked about something that often gets overlooked: the physical space itself — including furniture that is rated for higher weights. And while this has always been important to us, we realized we’ve never explicitly said it out loud.

So we fixed that.

We’ve added a new FAQ to our website that clearly outlines the weight ratings for the chairs and treatment tables at each of our clinics. Because we want every patient to walk into our space feeling confident — not stressed about where to sit, whether something will hold them, or if they’ll have to ask an uncomfortable question.

Body inclusivity isn’t a buzzword for us. It’s built into the way we design our space, deliver care, and welcome you through the door.

Take a look, and if there’s something you’re wondering about, tell us. We’re always listening — and always working to do better.

Privacy isn’t a perk here—it’s the standard.

At Pelvic Pride, we don’t make privacy an “option.” Every visit happens in a private treatment room with a provider trained exclusively in pelvic health. Internal assessments are always available when clinically appropriate, and you’ll never be treated in a busy gym or open space surrounded by people who aren’t there for pelvic floor care.

Pelvic floor is all we do. You won’t get lost in the ortho shuffle or passed between providers who only treat pelvic health some of the time. Your concerns are understood, prioritized, and treated with the expertise and respect they deserve.

Your body. Your care. Your privacy. Always.

In case you are new here or still not entirely sure what the pelvic floor does, this post is for you!

We call this the 5 S’s of the pelvic floor:
💠 Support
💠 Suppress
💠 Sphincter Control
💠 Stabilize
💠 S3xual Appreciation

Does it make sense now why the answer isn’t just “kegels”?

We are so much more than one isolated pelvic floor movement. We are dynamic beings meant to move and jump and love and not have pelvic floor dysfunction!

Having issues with one (or more) of theS’s? We can help! Call today to schedule!
