For people with prostate cancer, one possible side effect of treatment is lymphedema, a painful buildup of lymphatic fluid that causes swelling—often in the legs or lower body.

You may have noticed a green glow shining on our hospital campus! 💚 We’re to support Operation Green Light, a nationwide campaign led by the National Association of Counties (NACo).

This campaign honors the service and sacrifice of our veterans, active-duty military members, and their families, not just on Veterans Day, but every day.

Why green? Green represents renewal, well-being, and hope. It sends a powerful message to our veterans: You are seen. You are appreciated. You are supported.

Join us by shining a green light this week to show solidarity with those who have served. Help us raise awareness of the challenges many veterans face as they transition back to civilian life.
