Business is not just about making money. It's about caring for the people around us. The Paul Bunyan Chapter of BNI is collecting donations of non-perishable shelf stable food to benefit people in our communities in the month of November and you can help. Need ideas on what to donate. Here are some ideas: Nut butters, Canned soup, Canned fruit, Canned vegetables, Canned stew, Canned fish, Canned beans, Pasta (most prefer whole grain), Rice (most prefer brown rice). Make sure that the food is not expired.

Donations can be dropped off at Green Acres Kennel Shop (1653 Union Street, Bangor), Empeople Credit Union (6 State Street, Bangor — downtown), or at Bouchard Cleaning & Restoration DKI (29 Carey Circle, Hampden).

We will be splitting the donations between OHI Brewer Food Pantry and Manna Ministries Inc. Food Bank.
