Bangor Counseling Center is committed to providing appropriate services to individuals and families who are experiencing difficulties because of behavioral, psychological, educational, or cognitive challenges, as well as those with co-occurring conditions and those who have experienced trauma, in a welcoming, nurturing, compassionate and therapeutic environment. Bangor Counseling Center assures that confidentiality is strictly adhered to and complies with Client Rights Regulations and all governing Federal and State laws/statutes concerning the confidentiality of all clients. Bangor Counseling Center's Mental and Behavioral Health Professionals promote treatment that recognizes and builds on the strengths of the individual and/or family, and they utilize therapeutic constructs that foster healing, personal growth and development that contribute to an enhanced and improved lifestyle.

It has been our please to serve the greater Bangor region for the past 25 years. However we are going to be close up shop and are no longer taking referrals at this time. We all look forward to the next chapter.

We are looking for a Therapist to join our team in the greater Bangor area.
Education Requirements:
Masters Degree in Counseling or Psychology.
License Requirement:
License Clinical Social Worker, LCSW or License Clinical Professional Counselor, LCPC, or conditional working towards licensing.
2 year contract commitment.
Job Description:
The Clinical Therapist shall be responsible for providing outpatient mental/behavioral health related therapeutic treatment to promote healing, recovery, personal growth for clients. Conduct assessments, individual, and/or family therapy. Develop service plans and conduct reviews as needed throughout the duration of treatment. Complete and maintain medical records in a timely manner, that meet Federal, State and Bangor Counseling Center requirements. When required, write reports for court, school, or other community agencies. Follow up with other medical care providers when/if appropriate.
Job Type: Part-time or full time
Pay will be discussed in the interview.
