As a mother of two young children, completing a Master's degree in Human Development while working as a manager at Google with 37 direct reports and over 200 clients, I was on the verge of burnout. I struggled with the disease to please, Imposter Syndrome and overcommitting myself. I realized that the skills that got me into upper leadership were no longer useful. My work is focused on helping women who were like me: those who had many talents, but felt like they were failing everyone around them. I share effective tools around confidence, communication and parenting that often lead to major turnarounds after just a few sessions. Women who experience:
* Dreading going to work
* Yelling at their kids
* Hyperfocusing on their mistakes
* Disrupted sleep
* Hyperactive inner critic
* Fear around losing their jobs
* Fighting with spouse/partner
* Ongoing resentment
* Avoiding conflict and speaking up
* Crying a lot
* Fantasies of walking away

I am also a dynamic speaker who speaks frequents to groups in tech, and other high-stakes professional worlds, about vulnerability-based leadership. I blend research-based content + powerful, personal stories + integrative activities to create dynamic & impactful events

My more popular sessions include:
* You are Not a Fraud: Overcoming Impostor Syndrome
* Parenting Through the Pandemic
* Having Difficult Conversations: Leading with Compassionate Honesty
* Calm in the Chaos

Additionally, I am an instructor at Seattle Life Coach Training and I have a weekly FB Live video blog called Living and Learning.

It was a joy to speak to Bangor educators at tonight’s BEA (Bangor Education Association aka local teacher’s union) meeting!

The topic was Beyond Casual Fridays: Finding Calm in the Chaos of Schools.

As a former educator, it is a joy to connect with other teachers and support them in managing stress, preventing burnout, and improving the ever-elusive work-life balance. ❤️
