Thursday 10/23: Volunteer at Good Shepherd Food Bank or bake Pumpkin Chip Cookies & Rice Crispy Treats 🍪

Friday 10/24: Halloween Dance Prep 🎃 — Mummy Dogs, “Finger” Sandwiches, Meatballs, Veggie Trays + the big Halloween Dance 5–8PM! 💃🕺
NO BOWLING GROUP, pick up time is at 3!

🍦 Dairy Queen for Mini Blizzards (invite a friend to meet you there!)

🌿 Visit the Community Garden
🎳 Bowling Practice @ Family Fun Lanes
⭐ Get those practice scores in — Special Olympics registration is due 10/9!

Wednesday 10/8:

This month we get to celebrate some truly special people in MVRA!

✨ Work Anniversaries

Wendall – 4 years! Our incredible House Lead is always dependable, a strong advocate, and a steady support for both clients and staff. We’re so lucky to have his leadership and dedication every single day.

Crystal – 1 year! Our amazing Administrative Assistant keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes. From documentation to authorizations to endless paperwork (and more, and more, and more!), Crystal does it all with grace.

🎂 October Birthdays
Please join us in wishing a very happy birthday to Tiffany, Mark, Dan, and Bill! May your month be filled with cake, laughter, and maybe a pumpkin spice latte (or two).

October’s birthstones are opal and tourmaline – both said to inspire creativity and healing.
The month’s flower is the marigold, symbolizing warmth and resilience.

Why did the skeleton go to the party alone?
Because he had no body to go with.
