We are excited to celebrate and recognize Stacy Sorli as the recipient of the Mother Mary Angela Service Award! She truly lives the mission and values of Bangor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Covenant Health.
This award is important because it comes from peers who have recognized each otherās talents and commitment to the core values of compassion, integrity, collaboration and excellence, to our Catholic identity, and our mission to provide healing and care for the whole person in service to all in our communities. It is called the Mother Mary Angela Service Award to honor the legacy Mother Angela left the Felician Sisters and inspires us today. Mother Angelaās call to service and faith began when she was a child, and it grew to a lifetime of caring for the poor and vulnerable in her community. Within the construct of the Congregation, she was able to expand this ministry and reach beyond her imagination. Last year the Felician Sisters celebrate 150 years of ministry in the United States! Our ministry here has continued to provide healing and care thanks for the vision of the Felician Sisters.
