"Wrapped in peace and comfort".

When words fall away and moments grow quiet, comfort matters.

At CHCS Hospice, one simple gift helps tell a final story of care and kindness. Every patient is wrapped in a handmade quilt, lovingly created and donated by someone who chose to give warmth, dignity, and peace at life’s end.

These quilts rest gently on shoulders, warm tired hands, and offer a soft embrace during some of life’s most tender hours. They are a reminder that no one is alone—that they are seen, valued, and held in love.

We invite you to help us continue this story. By donating a quilt, you become part of a moment that brings comfort when it is needed most.

If you would like to donate or would like to learn more, please contact Barbara Carey at 207-922-4600, ext. 6440.
