What a glorious feeling... ☔️🎬
Last month, our Clarksburg team rented out the historic Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center for a Valentine’s week showing of Singin’ in the Rain.
The event was open to the public, and the first 50 guests joined us for free popcorn, a classic film from 1952, and an afternoon inside one of West Virginia’s most beautiful theaters.
Sometimes community care looks like companionship. Sometimes it looks like a movie afternoon with neighbors and friends.
❤️🍿 Either way, Village Caregiving: Clarksburg, WV made it special.

Today, we’re closing out our celebrations by honoring someone who represents the very best of what caregiving looks like.
Our 2025 Caregiver of the Year, Yavonne Howe.
Yavonne joined us at our 2025 Annual Meeting, where she stood on stage in front of leadership from across the country and received her award directly from our CEO. She shared her heart, her experiences, and reminded every person in that room why this work matters.
Yavonne is committed. She is empathetic. She is genuine. She goes above and beyond not because she has to, but because she believes her clients deserve nothing less.
Over the past several weeks, we’ve shared stories from caregivers across the country. And if there’s one thing that is overwhelmingly clear, it’s this:
❤️ We are incredibly fortunate.
To serve alongside 4,000+ caregivers who show up every single day with compassion, grit, and heart is not something we take lightly.
This wraps our 2026 National Caregivers Campaign, but our gratitude does not end here.
To Yavonne.
To our 10 National Recognition recipients.
To every Village Caregiving caregiver across the country.
Thank you for strengthening families.
Thank you for protecting independence.
Thank you for keeping hearts at home.

Village Caregiving is a privately held, Non-Medical Home Health Care Agency with offices in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Kentucky. Our company is bonded and insured. The owners are West Virginia natives who have deep Appalachian roots. Our company is proud to say that many of our clients come to us through word of mouth. We realize that each one of our clients is a part of someone’s family, which is precisely why our caregivers treat them like family. We started with common sense principles, and we continue to operate by them. It means a great deal to us that you trust us with your loved ones, so we will protect and shelter them.

We are a small company that opened our doors in early 2013. We have grown to multiple locations by keeping what we do simple and smart. Our company only grows through word-of-mouth, and, therefore, we always keep client/family satisfaction as the driving force. Words are just words; we ask for the opportunity to display our work through actions.
