The Middlesboro Housing Authority is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Clerk to support daily administrative and clerical operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth office functions and excellent service to residents and the public.

Position Type: Part-Time Monday through Friday
Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour
Schedule: 20–25 hours per week, flexible weekday schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist residents, applicants, and visitors in person and by phone
• Prepare, file, and maintain documents, reports, and correspondence
• Enter data and update records in computer systems
• Handle mail, copying, scanning, and other office tasks
• Provide administrative support to staff and management as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous clerical or administrative experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
