If you're needing to clean out those medicine cabinets and ensure that dangerous/addictive medication is no longer a threat to your loved ones, this weekend is a great opportunity to purge those meds!

So impressed with our guest speaker this month, Laken Blanford! 🌟 She founded The Resilience Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting children who have experienced trauma by providing scholarships for extracurricular activities. Such an inspiring mission and an incredible presentation — great job, Laken! 👏

Our community came together on August 31st for a Overdose Awareness Butterfly Release. While it’s never easy, these gatherings remind us of the power of connection, the importance of conversation, and the need to remember and honor those we’ve lost. 💜

Aug. 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day. Each year, NelCARE hosts a butterfly release in memory of those who have lost their lives to an overdose.
