Posture and body mechanics has been the foundation of our MSD prevention blueprint for > 40 years. There is growing evidence that this is also associated with general health benefits (i.e., longevity) as concluded in this recent research paper published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology. Simply practicing finding good postural alignment sitting and then getting up and down with proper body mechanics is a fundamental musculoskeletal wellness concept and a perfect starting point for "exercise snacking". DRS wants to spread the word on the "Power of Posture" (i.e., video provided by Jean for AstraZeneca) - DRS prevention leaders are helping many thousands of people learn how to integrate this into their daily routines each week around the country and have done so for many years - the movement to prevention is growing, take control of your health and wellbeing!!!

Jeanne just shared this in preparing her year-end report for Sysco warehousing operations in the Syracuse area - she is doing an outstanding job. 40 years ago, in San Antonio, the 2nd McKenzie Institute meeting of the founders took place at the "Challenge of the Lumbar Spine" conference. Ron Donelson and Angelo DiMaggio had come aboard since the first meeting in Anaheim the previous year. We were starting to do "official" McKenzie Insitute courses - an exciting time. Creating the Institute, teaching courses, getting to know each other - figuring out how to make MDT the gold standard for musculoskeletal care of the back and neck (Robin had no interest in the extremities in those days). An especially fond memory is all of us going out dancing with Sharrie from OPTP - we had a blast.
The picture is from the following year when the original faculty went to NZ for a month to visit clinics, enhance SMT skills and make everything official. That's us with Angelo and Robin at his farm.

Stumbled on this picture of a manual therapy course Jean and I taught in Seattle - brought back many fond memories. Hoping the class helped all these therapists help their patients a little better than before attending the course - we all had fun in the process!!!

We'll train you in our system (CE credits provided) and then closely manage and support your implementation of our program for a major manufacturer we have been with for 13 years (our current leaders, husband and wife our moving out of the area).
