π Winter Storm Safety Message π
As an upcoming snowstorm approaches our area, the Barnegat First Aid Squad would like to remind all residents to take the necessary steps to prepare and stay safe.

β’ Staying off the roads helps emergency responders and snowplows operate safely and efficiently.
π Parking Reminder
β’ Please park vehicles off the roadway during and after the storm to allow emergency response vehicles and plows safe access down residential streets.
π₯ Fire Hydrant Access
β’ If there is a fire hydrant on or near your property, please help us by clearing snow from around it.
β’ Keeping hydrants accessible allows us quicker access during emergencies and can save valuable time.
β‘ Generator Safety
β’ Generators must be operated outdoors only, away from doors, windows, and vents.
β’ Never use generators, grills, or propane heaters inside homes, garages, or enclosed spaces.
β’ Ensure carbon monoxide detectors are working properly.

β’ Use caution when operating snowblowers.
β’ Never place hands or feet near moving parts.
β’ If the snowblower becomes clogged, turn it off and use a tool to clear itβnever your hands.
β’ Dress warmly and take breaks to avoid overexertion.
π Need Assistance?
β’ If an emergency arises or you need our help, do not hesitate to call 911. We are here to serve and protect our community.
