Praying for everyone affected by the fires in downtown Barnesville last night. Lifting up our community, first responders, and local businesses during this difficult time.

The weight and devastation of last night will carry over into today and many upcoming days and months for our Downtown Businesses and community. These buildings aren't just buildings, they represent families, livelihoods, memories and generations of history and hard work devoted to our Downtown. Mama Ds and Goggans are a complete loss but the surrounding businesses did receive damage as well.

While we are heartbroken for our community, we are so thankful for our first responders, County and City Fire Departments, if it wasn't for them acting so swiftly in the night and controlling the fire, all of Market Street could have easily been gone this morning. It was a very long night and early morning for them but they were successful and most importantly, no one injured.

All we can do now is pray for our community and make sure we extend a hand when comes time to rebuild. We are stronger together❤️
