Good morning my fellow Walton Family. Happy Monday! We had a lot of fun last week and over the weekend. Our lovely residents got to make homemade butter while watching one of their favorite movies. They also had a chance to make homemade flowers out of coffee filters, which turned out amazing. Thank you Jodi Ward they loved this idea. Residents loved getting dirty by planting real flowers, needless to say they are ready for spring & Warmer weather! 4 & 1 Quartet played for them Thursday it's always fun having entertainment. Thank you Scott Whitacre and the wonderful talent that came out and performed wonderful music for our folks! Thank you, Gurnsey Hospice, for coming out and speaking with us during our staff meeting. We appreciate you and all your help with our residence on a daily basis! Big shout out to Jarvas law firm for hosting the Barnesville Chambers and 2 stack for the delicious food! Tomorrow is our residents St, Patty's Day Party w/ The get along Gang @ 2pm & This Saturday the Masonic Riders are coming and bringing Pie & Ice-cream @ 2pm. Have a great day Walton Family!

Big Shout out to the McGees that came out Sunday evening and had fun with the residents. They had a blast. Would like to thank The Olney students that came out Saturday afternoon and spent time with the residents. They are blessed to have so many people that want to come in and spend time with them! You all are very much appreciated and truly a blessing to us & to our residents!

Good morning, hope everyone sprung forward!!! We had a busy week & weekend here at the Walton home. We celebrated Employ appreciation week; we celebrated Maintenance week and our March birthdays! We would like to give a big shout out Tina Cunningham and guests that came out and taught our residents how to crochet. They absolutely enjoyed it!! Have a great week!

Wow, what wonderful night last night was t! Sam Elliot movie night & they made homemade pepperoni rolls to start the night off! To say the least, they had a wonderful night, and they cannot wait to do again! Rain, Rain, go away come back another day!!! How ever here at the Walton Home, it's not stopping these from having fun. Having fun playing games, jamming to some music, Singing and laughing with no worry in the world! We had the singing Mayhugh's with a little bit if dancing going on!! Our residents enjoy some entertainment! Stay tuned for tomorrow, our bakers club are preparing some homemade pepperoni rolls for their Sam Elliot Movie night tonight.! They are super Excited. Our residents have busy week with activities 4 in quartet will be playing @ 1:30 pm on Thursday! Olney students will be here Saturday and Sunday we have Tina Cuningham Crocheting with the residents and 6pm we have the McGees coming in! Have a blessed day everyone!

What wonderful day here @ The Walton Home, the residents started out there morning with morning stretches & lots of conversations😀I believe they are all very competitive players when it comes to corn hole! This is one of the many of their favorite games. When these ladies play bingo there is no messing around at all, that one game that can get your hand slapped by them if you yell a false bingo! 🤣🤣🤣It was a packed house for sure at bingo today! The residents got amused today in the lobby watching us put up there brand new 75" Flat Screen TV. They are ready for some popcorn & a Sam Elliot movie. Hope everyone has a blessed day!

Big shout out to the Union Local kids for bringing making homemade Valentines Day Cards & Flowers to our residents. They absolutely love surprises and visitors. This week we have Jim Blaney Tuesday Evening 2/17/26 Wednesday evening we have song service @ 6pm and this Saturday we Have the Olney Students coming out to interact with our residents. Happy Friday everyone! Love is in the air, here at The Walton Home. Our Residents have been busy making their Valentines Day Bags. Thursday, we had our annual Valentines Bash with a Paint & Sip Party Big Shout out to our Volunteers, we have Kathy Batts that made individual charcuterie bords for the residents, The Flower Garden for making the beautiful Valentines Vases, Wendi Miller for the homemade chocolates, Donna Warner for volunteering and Sue Clark for helping us out with the party, Our Wonderful Walton Bakers Club, They made delicious peanut butter cookie & banana bread. Thank you Jomae for the beautiful balloon arch, and last thank you to Barnesville Rotary for the Canvases, paint, paint brushes. Everyone had a blast yesterday; without everyone this would not be possible. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend & a Happy Valentines Day.

Its National Pizza Day (February 9th) Our residents are celebrating at the Walton Home. Activity of the day, Making your own sugar cookie pizza. Our Dietary staff were busy making homemade pizza for our residents & staff for dinner tonight! Our lovely residents have been busy making up their Valentines Day bags. Happy Friday everyone! Hope everyone is staying warm! Several highlight from our week! Congratulations to Diana Flanigan for being February employ of the month! Diana is a joy to work with & so glad she is part of the Walton Home! We celebrated our monthly residents & staffs' birthday which was Sara K. & Lee Back, so happy Birthday to you both. Our residents take morning exercise serious around here! 😀😀😀 So glad so many get involved. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. stay warm!

Lol Either way snow /cold is going to come regardless unfortunately. 😁February Highlight for this month, Jody Ward has been out sick yesterday & today (We do apologize) Tuesday Feb 3rd Jim Blaney from Rotary will be here this evening @ 6pm, Feb 4th Curtis Chamberlain will be here @ 2pm, Feb 5th Get Along gang will be here @ 6pm Feb. 6 we have the residents Birthday Party@ 2pm, Feb. 7th From 1pm to 4pm The Olney Students will be out here visiting with the residents Thank you Olney! The McGees will be here Sunday Feb 8th @ 6pm, it's always fun with the McGees. Monday National Pizza Day, pizza activity in the dining room @ 2pm. February 12th @ 2pm Is our residents Valentines Day Paint & Sip Party. Feb.13th Ol " Friends @ 1pm Hope everyone has a wonderful week!
