Good afternoon, we all know that Spring has finally made it here! What's that mean? Flowers blooming, planting flowers, Garden tilling, landscaping, and all the goodies that follow! I'm reaching out from the Walton Home and teaming up with Jodi Ward our activity director. We are doing our Spring fundraiser Our residents enjoy doing outdoor things especially in our beautiful courtyard. This year in our residence meeting they said it would be nice if we could do a small garden to be able to a farm to table type of thing. They had some amazing ideas. I sent out some letters to the community asking for help in donating what they could and even gently used items for gardening and planting flowers. Some items asking for are garden tools (little handheld tools) mulch, soil, Flowers, Vegetable Plants, bird feeders, bird food Stand up garden beds etc. If anyone would like to donate items, please contact Amy Keiser or Jodi Ward or drop off, we appreciate anything. Let's help make our residences courtyard look amazing. We will be having a kickoff in our courtyard Mid-June, we will keep everyone posted when we get more details. Just want to give a big shout out to Do It Best Hardware for donating 3 Raised Garden beds, and a basket full of gloves, tools. How exciting! Thank you Heritage Store for donating (4) 20-pound bags of potting soil, very much appreciated! Also Thank you to the Preston's for donating outdoor wicker furniture to put on our lovely Patio! Thank you Lee Back for all your help with the garden beds! So, Kudos to our Community you are the best! Again, thank you in advance if anyone who wants to donate items!
