The snowy gardens and trails of our United Plant Savers botanical sanctuary are open, and so is our home, with an eco-spirituality circle, open apothecary with TONS of herbal and artful gifts*, a handmade/homegrown gift swap, crafting, potluck, and a witchy dose of magical, q***r, neurospicy, herbal friendship in Barrington, NH this Sunday! *All proceeds support sliding scale community wellness services and to families undergoing ICE detainments and deportments.

With the plants settled sleepily under the snow, we’ve transformed their magic to set you (and our communities) up for a winter of wellness and joy, with ceremony and products to delight, comfort, and please the senses, all handcrafted by your favorite woodland witch (some say fairy) and master cabinetmaker!

Feeling cranky, anxious, exhausted or stressed? Sounds like you could use a nourishing dose of eco-spirituality! This month’s theme is “The Wisdom of Winter.” Our monthly Sanctuary Circles are free community events, designed to celebrate and hone our connection to Nature and our own bodies’ seasonal needs and knowing. Please arrive with enough time to settle in - latecomers are welcome but asked to enter quietly.

Come check out this year's limited edition goods and stock up for you and your loved ones, while helping us spread the sanctuary's magic! Form meets function and decadence dances with practicality, as silky-smooth altar trays and cutting boards frolic amongst sweet, savory, healthful, and heavenly teas, smoking blends, incense, jams, salts, salves, crafts, & more, all made with organic and sustainably wildcrafted herbs!

All sales support community care in the form of sliding scale and pro-bono herbal consultations, wellness counseling, free events, and nature therapy for folks in need. Proceeds from our SACRED SMOKE BUNDLES this year are going to a direct action group helping families targeted by ICE detainments and deportations.

🧙‍♀️ 👩‍🍳 This year’s treats include peaceful pre-rolls ritual smokes, wooden altar trays and cutting boards, salves, oils, incense, potpourri, jams and sauces, Miracle Mouth tooth & gum tonic (recommended by PPapa Joe Storytelling, Emotional Support In A Bottle (recommended by all single parents who try it), Brain Booster Tonic for kids and adults, ritual Love Potion (which comes with a written ceremony for clear communication), new tea blends, and more!

🌲☃️ Bundle up and explore the acres of peaceful, quiet nature trails (perfect photo ops abound). Keep an eye out for critter tracks and signs of our 4-legged & flying friends!

🔥Indoors, hang out by the woodstove with friends new and old, enjoy the potluck, bring something homemade/homegrown to swap, draw an oracle card, or browse the color-coordinated bookshelves and snuggle in for a good read (introverts, we’ve got your backs… quietly. With tea and snacks)

🍵 Other stuff to know: Do you have access needs around mobility, crowds, etc? Give Jess a call at (802)578-7931; they’ll be happy to make sure you’re comfy and accommodated. We love when folks bring recycled bottles/bags/jars to restock your home apothecary with bulk tinctures, teas, and herbs. Cash is always welcome, but we take venmo, paypal, and zelle as well.

A little late-summer beauty, and a peak in my living room, for all you curious folks.
If you’ve ever wanted to know what the bookshelf of an looks like… yes, it’s color coordinated!

If you want to check it out in person and hep make some magic in the gardens and herb room (or snuggle up on the couch with your laptop and cowork along side us busy witches), sign up for a sanctuary steward day (every Wednesday). We usually end with a kid-friendly potluck… and I’ll happily send you back home with the perfect tea blend and a cutting from my pothos. 🧚😘🧙🏼‍♀️💗

Time to gather hops and share some pictures from our sacred rest retreat! This hops will go into dream pillows, tinctures, and teas to help us rest well throughout the year. And our memories from last weekend‘s glorious adventures, coupled with our new knowledge, skills, and plans to continue learning and tending to our sweet spirits and each other will keep us well in heart, mind and community. Oh my tired babes, have I got the most magical splendiferously pampering getaway planned for you!

Listen, my darling:

YOU CAN’T FILL FROM AN EMPTY CUP.

I know you know this, but I also know that the world is incredibly damaged and damaging right now and if you’re anything like me, you feel it big and you feel it deep. You’re also probably pulled in a lot of different directions trying to hold s**t together and be the change and make sense of the incomprehensible while also, you know, existing.

It’s overwhelming, and you might even be feeling overwhelmed more often than you’d like to admit.

I get it. It’s a sign of a healthy sense of ethics and interdependence for your nervous system to respond to uncertainty and cruelty and devastation with big internal warning signs! You may even notice a disruption in your sleep, your digestive system or even your ability to find joy in the things that you know you love. It’s OK,I got you.

This Labor Day weekend, how about you let me take care of you?

Take a deep breath, and imagine being able to unwind, relax, nap under a shady tree, or float naked in the pond, with nobody asking anything of you (except maybe if you’d like another snack or a refill of your herb-infused water).
You wander over to the Oracle Altar and pull a card, then decide to sign up for a 1-on-1 wise woman session. Later, you stroll on a walking meditation and immerse yourself in the sounds of bird song and the feel of moss underneath your toes. Ahhhh….

If you’ve been feeling confined, you can strip all of that away for 4 sacred days of bliss. You don’t even need to wear clothes if you don’t want to! The entire retreat is clothing optional, so you can go Skyclad and truly connect with nature, exactly as you are.

I will personally be kitchen witching every single meal, from our opening dinner to the snacks I send you on your way with at the end, and when I tell you I’ve made the most glorious menu, I mean it! You can see for yourself on our sign-up sheet (and I’ll accommodate all dietary restrictions).

Lady slippers have always been a magical sight in the late spring woodlands and this year they were far more abundant than I’ve seen before. Showy, fleshy, strangely demure for an orchid reminiscent of things far more *anatomical* than footwear, they strike me as restful yet stunning emissaries of both the understory and the fairy realm. And going in search of them is such a seasonal rite - are you there? Are you up yet? Ahhh, THERE you are! How ARE you? What beauty!
