What is something no longer working that we have struggled to acknowledge? Sometimes naming it can be the first step towards change, freedom, and healing.

Here are some ideas to get started:
1. Pay attention to the frequency, consistency, and quality in which you invest in your relationships and connections.
2. Minimize distractions during conversations to increase the quality of time. (Put those phones down!)
3. Seek out ways to initiate and help others in your community. (Let others know they matter to you. Being respectful and kind is free, but priceless!)
4. Seek help when you need it, too. Reach out to family, a friend, a counselor, or dial the 988 crisis line.

Another way I've heard it described is "Our feelings are valid and real, but they are not reality". Our emotions are helpful signals to inform us and help us to process what we perceive, so it's important to not ignore or suppress them. However, our emotions are not facts, so it is helpful to make the distinction.

Congratulations to Nader and Fei for getting their full licenses earlier this year, which means they have completed more than 3,000 hours of professional work under supervision and so much more!

What do all those letters mean? Nader is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Fei is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
