You have to know the facts in order to properly protect kids. And while these statistics are actually likely underreported, they still pack a punch none of us feel ready to take… that we all probably have come across someone who has dealt with it in some capacity 😩 and one of the best things we can ALL do, is to spread awareness ❤️‍🩹

💫 A child’s play is not random… it is memory, mastery, and meaning. One of our goals at Heal RI is to give kids and teens a safe space to find their own language, in their own time, in a way that doesn’t feel forced.

Thank you to Pathway to Resilience for this engaging play therapy training!! Our clinicians enjoyed the time spent, and we learned SO much.

Boundary-less screen time is a set up for failure.. for the child, parent, and family as a whole unit. Screens, like anything, are okay with balance and limits. But it’s super important for parents of kids with all ages to take the proper steps to ensure it does not impact the wellness of the child.
