A couple months ago, it seemed like we were going to lose our popular Vanilla 5th distillation oil. In desperation, I blended my own Vanilla fragrance in hopes of replacing it. Luckily, we still have access to the Vanilla 5th distillation, but we now also have an alternative Vanilla. This one is both lighter and earthier than our Vanilla 5th, with a boozy sort of undertone. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! The store is closed today so we can all feast. For me, Thanksgiving has always been about food, family, friends, and fun. I’ve always seen it as a harvest festival divorced from any sort of political mythology. The scent of the day is Pumpkin Pie: a gourmand scent if there ever was one! I adore Matcha. I alternate back and forth between making my own matcha latte and making my own chai in the mornings. I will often go purchase a matcha latte from my local coffee shop in the middle of the day as well. I call it my Emotional Support Matcha because that’s how I feel about matcha.
