NeuroBalance Center will be open by appointment only from Monday, December 22, to Saturday, January 3. There will be no Transportation or Group Fitness Classes and limited Reception services during this time.

NeuroBalance Center will be closed on Thursday, December 25, and Thursday, January 1, for the Christmas and New Year's holidays.

NeuroBalance Center is pleased to welcome Mary Helen Ekstam, board-certified music therapist, for our next Lunch & Learn in our 2025 series!

For our final Lunch & Learn of the 2025 series, Mary Helen, board-certified music therapist, will help us explore how music is processed in the brain and why it can be profoundly healing for individuals facing a variety of health challenges. Participants will learn how music supports gait and motor function, enhances memory, and offers effective strategies for coping with anxiety and depression through emotional regulation. The program also highlights how music therapy promotes overall well-being, contributing to improved health, wellness, and quality of life.

Upcoming Holiday Closure

The NeuroBalance Center will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, for the Thanksgiving holiday. There will be no Reception, Transportation, or Group Fitness Classes during this time. There will also be limited Reception services from Monday, 11/24, to Wednesday, 11/26.

NeuroBalance Center is excited to welcome Jane Mix to our team of service providers!

With 16 years of experience teaching group exercises, Jane brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Her diverse experience includes personal training for clients with special limitations, group training, and functional training. She holds multiple group exercise certifications, including strength training, high-intensity interval training, dance-based cardiovascular conditioning, and core conditioning. This allows her to customize workouts to each client's specific needs.

Jane is passionate about helping and encouraging every client to reach their fitness goals and potential. She also enjoys getting to know her clients and being an active part of the Palatine community. Welcome, Jane!

Jane will be offering Personal Training services at the NeuroBalance Center every Monday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
