Hannah's Hope serves pregnant women and adoptive families all over West TN. Did you know that West TN covers more than 10,000 square miles?? That is a lot of ground to cover for our small staff. We do not ask clients to come to our office. We meet them where they are...literally. The Hannah's Hope staff meet our clients in their homes, in neutral locations in their neighborhoods, and at offices of community partners. This type of accommodation sets our organization apart from others. We want our clients to feel as comfortable as possible when working with us, and we understand that many of them do not have reliable transportation.

Over the past year, the Hannah's Hope staff drove more than 15,000 miles in service to clients. We are proud of the services and care that we provide to our clients. For families in West Tennessee, infant formula can cost $70–$200 each month—and even more when a baby has special dietary needs. Unfortunately, WIC and SNAP benefits often fall short, leaving many moms struggling to afford this basic necessity. WIC and SNAP also do not cover the cost of bottles, ni***es, bottle brushes or sterilizers, or breastfeeding supplies (milk storage bags, breast pads, etc.). Hannah's Hope provides these needed items to mothers in need all across West TN. These Safe Feeding Kits cost approximately $150 each. We all know that babies need a lot of care and supplies. Did you know that infants go through between 250-300 diapers each month? That is a lot of diapers! That many diapers can cost anywhere from $60-$100 each month. Even if a mother is eligible for the TennCare Diaper Benefit, she can only receive 100 diapers per month. This means she will need at least another $30-$60 to purchase diapers each month.

Hannah's Hope provides our clients with stocked diaper bags, and we supply extra diapers as we are able. If you would like to help, we accept donations of diapers (newborn-size 4) and wipes (unscented is preferred), or you can donate to our diaper fund on our Amazon Wishlist (link below and/or in bio) or donate through our website. January's Wishlist Item of the month is a Pack 'n Play.

Pack 'n Plays provide mothers with a safe place for their babies to sleep. TN ranks 4th in the nation for infant suffocation deaths, and most of these are attributed to unsafe sleep practices. By providing mothers with a safe place for their infants to sleep, we are working to save lives and keep babies safe at home.

Hannah's Hope wants to say a very special THANK YOU to the St. Paul United Methodist Church- Lakeland, Tn Pre-School for their amazing fundraising efforts! In December, these awesome kids raised over $1,100 for our ministry! If you see one of these children, please tell them how great they are.

We are inviting new members to join our Board of Trustees as several valued leaders conclude their service. Board members serve on a collaborative team of approximately 10 individuals who meet quarterly to review agency updates and provide guidance on overall operations. Prior board experience is not required, and we are seeking individuals with a heart for supporting women and children in challenging circumstances through counseling, pregnancy resources, and adoption planning when appropriate. ✨ Hope showed up for Michelle — just when she needed it most. ✨

At 17, eight months pregnant with twins, grieving the loss of her babies’ father, and starting over in a new town with no support system, Michelle felt completely alone.
Her family had no transportation, no income, and nothing prepared for the girls she was about to welcome.
