Do you wonder why your child can't be reasoned with when in a meltdown? This is the answer. The time to ask questions is later. Try instead humming quietly if they are very little and just being with them until they can accept your co-regulation and comfort. If older, try calming with gentle music, co-regulating with deep breaths, giving space, and assuring them you are there for them when they are ready to talk.

Rainbow colored Fetanyl. A very dangerous pain killer. A simple touch and it can be deadly. A couple grains the size of salt can kill a 10-year-old. Symptoms of contact include sleepiness, agitation, difficulty breathing or slow breaths, lethargy, small pupils. It is prescribed in patches and if someone touches a patch, then touches a child, it can transmit. Patches can leak if hot.
