Bartow Regional Medical Center Bartow Regional Medical Center, part of BayCare Health System, is a 72-bed acute care hospital serving South Lakeland, Bartow, Ft. in Bartow, Florida.

Meade, Mulberry, rural south Polk County and northern Hardee County. Physicians and healthcare professionals at Bartow Regional Medical Center provide a variety of services. The hospital is equipped with four surgery suites and two gastroenterology suites. The emergency services department is staffed with board-certified emergency physicians and specially trained nurses, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to treat all types of emergency situations. BayCare is launching a proactive approach to cancer care to help individuals identify their risks for developing cancer just as Breast Cancer Awareness Month is kicking off. BayCare’s High Risk Cancer Program hopes to identify those at higher-than-average risk and help them devise a personalized plan to fight cancer. Learn more: https://bit.ly/4o0sZCf

This innovative program uses an online assessment to identify individuals at higher-than-average risk for cancer and provides them with tailored screening and prevention strategies.
