I will miss my Energy Healing Partners. Hope and Ruby. The Space Holders, the beautiful grounding work they do, the bringers of smiles and Peace. The balance of masculine and feminine energies, the goofy, the Present, the expressive, the Forgiving, the ones I became attached to.
They haven’t sold yet, but I know how it goes here. Babies come in, sometimes scared, lil bean bellies, and they grow into confident, fine horses. Then someone comes with an empty trailer.
I usually do just fine until they pull out of the driveway. That’s when all the other horses on the place start whinnying. Then the one in the trailer looks in my eye and whinnies back to all of us.
Some keep coming back for shoes when our regular customers buy them and they just keep getting prettier and prettier with age. Mitch really knows bloodlines.
I love to come out and see a familiar face, then I see the familiar brand back here to get shod, the look they give to me and the feeling of a magnet they have on me to go say ‘Hello Friend’, ‘Family’.

Then it all starts all over again.
