✨Trying to conceive after 35?

In Part 3 of our series, we’re sharing a that can truly make a difference: Early answers can help you plan with confidence.

A first fertility checkup is often simple and reassuring. It typically begins with a few easy tests—checking hormone levels, ovarian reserve, s***m health, and overall body function. From there, we create a personalized plan that supports your goals, your timeline, and your unique journey.

This isn’t about pressure. It’s about giving yourself the clarity you deserve.

Wherever your path leads, you don’t have to walk it alone. We’re here to guide you with compassion.💛

✨Trying to conceive after 35?

In Part 2 of our series, Dr. Dawkins shares when to seek support on your fertility journey.

Pro Tip: You don’t need to wait a full year before seeing a specialist if you are 35 or older.
• After age 35, we recommend reaching out after 6 months of trying.
• After age 40, that window becomes even shorter—3 months, or even right away.

This isn’t about alarm—it’s about empowerment. Earlier evaluation means earlier answers, earlier peace of mind, and an individualized plan tailored to your needs.

Wherever you are in your journey, we’re here to walk beside you with clarity and compassion. 💛

✨ Trying to conceive after 35? You’re not alone—and you’re not on a cliff.

In Part 1 of our series, Dr. Josette Dawkins shares why age affects fertility differently for everyone. There’s no single age where your fertility suddenly disappears. Each person’s reproductive health is unique, and understanding your story is what truly matters.

If you're unsure where you stand—or if you’ve been trying to conceive without success—an evaluation can offer clarity, reassurance, and a personalized plan that honors your individual needs.

We’re here to guide you with compassion every step of the way. 💙

Did you know❓

S***m Racing (the world’s smallest sport) was created to spark real conversations about men’s reproductive health. At the first S***m Olympics last year, s***m samples were placed on a microscopic track designed to mimic the female reproductive system, where high‑resolution cameras captured their movement, speed, and motility in real time to raise awareness about how s***m health reflects overall wellness. 🔬

Men’s fertility matters, and understanding it is a powerful first step toward taking control of your whole-body health.

Here’s the truth about one of the most frequently asked fertility questions: When should you see a fertility specialist?

Dr. Daniel Miranian explains that standard guidelines recommend seeking an evaluation after 12 months of trying to conceive if you’re under 35, and after 6 months if you’re 35 or older.

However, if you are over 40, your cycles are irregular, or you’ve been diagnosed with conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, or fibroids, an earlier consultation is appropriate.

Take a proactive approach to your fertility with early consultation and a dedicated care team at RMA.

🌟 Celebrating International Day of Women & Girls in Science! 🌟

Today, we honor four trailblazing women scientists who have significantly advanced the field of reproductive medicine: Miriam Menkin, Jean Purdy, Muriel Harris, and Georgeanna Jones.

Miriam Menkin was the first individual to successfully fertilize a human egg in vitro. Reflecting on her journey, she remarked, "I was so exhausted and drowsy that, while watching under the microscope how the s***m were frolicking around the egg, I forgot to look at the clock until I suddenly realized that a whole hour had elapsed... My success, after nearly six years of failure, was due – not to a stroke of genius – but simply to cat-napping on the job."

Jean Purdy, along with Robert Edwards and Patrick Steptoe, played a pivotal role in revolutionizing reproductive medicine. In 1978, she achieved the first IVF birth of Louise Brown. She is celebrated as the first embryologist and was the first to observe an embryo develop into a blastocyst.

Muriel Harris collaborated with Purdy, Edwards, and Steptoe to accomplish the world's first live IVF birth and is recognized as the first IVF nurse.

Georgeanna Jones and her husband Howard Jones became the first American reproductive endocrinologists to achieve a live birth through IVF in the United States; Elizabeth Carr was the first U.S. IVF baby born.
