Are we covered by insurance?

No- we do not accept insurance. However HSA/FSA cards are accepted and sometimes your insurance provider will reimburse for acupuncture- if they will, we will write you a superbill to submit to your provider ✨

Samantha is starting what we are calling “Mat based Mondays,” which means she is bringing her Thai Massage skills to us! These sessions are absolutely incredible and I LOVE them as a client of hers. Here is what she has to say about these sessions, “Thai massage takes a holistic approach to healing, addressing both physical and energetic imbalances in the body. This can help to not only relieve pain but also promote overall well-being and balance. This work is mat based, fully clothed. This style of work provides the deepest pressure in a way that is the easiest to receive. Utilizing my knees and feet provides a larger surface area compared to my elbows and fingers, allowing the nervous system to relax and let go. This work incorporates myofascial release, deep compression, stretching, active release, pin and stretch release and more. In most treatment sessions we are still able to utilize cupping and acupuncture for a well-rounded approach to your healing.”

Book a session with her any Monday 😌

How can I prepare for my session!?

Well mostly…come as you are ✨ wearing loose clothing is helpful but we also have a massage table and will drape you just like a practitioner would for a massage, no matter what you wear! Please eat before and make sure you’ll have time afterwards to relax and reintegrate back into your day 🤍

I just made my first appointment- what should I expect?

A holistic and in depth approach to your health 🥰 we will go through your health history and ask questions that may seem a little unrelated because Chinese Medicine gives an entirely different perspective on the body. Don’t worry! We will explain every step of the way 🤍

Can I get acupuncture if I’m pregnant? YES! Acupuncture is amazing for helping with discomforts during pregnancy and then to prepare for labor 🥰 (acupuncture is also FANTASTIC for working on fertility…that’ll have to be another post ✨)

The note is back on my desk😂 we have a few more weeks until I go on vacation- please make sure you book ahead if you’d like a spot in April! Samantha will be in that Monday and Tuesday and then will also be out✨

😌 a relaxing session with Heather- she loves working with how the emotional body impacts the physical

Come and see her Saturday- Monday✨

03/18/2026

How many sessions will I need?

Well, there’s no “one size fits all” for healing in our perspective. This depends on if what we’re working on is acute or chronic and how you’re treating your body 🤍

8-12 sessions is often what’s recommended- if you have questions for us about what you’re wanting to work on, book a free consultation call today!

Is acupuncture safe!? Yes🥰 we have extensive training and to practice in Texas you MUST be licensed by the Texas Medical Board

What does acupuncture treat? Acupuncture is another lens of medicine so it treats just about anything you would go to a western doctor for- and they work very well together 🤍

It’s been a longgggg time since I’ve talked about cup marks on here 🥹

What is cupping!? Essentially, a reverse deep tissue treatment pulling up and creating suction that separates the layers of muscle and fascia allowing stagnant blood to be pulled up and drained through the lymphatic system ✨

In other words- areas of your body holding tension from old and new injuries, stress and other unprocessed emotions are worked on to alleviate pain and tension

Remember, we cannot separate the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies so we are always working on them all🖤

Samantha is excited to meet you🔥 her books are open Wednesdays- Saturdays

Samantha Stoneback, Licensed Acupuncturist, Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Cupping Therapist. I am a 2021 graduate from Lauterstein Conway Massage School; whom was one of the lucky few to receive instruction directly from David Lauterstein and John Conway, amongst other incredible professors. I very quickly became hooked on how the body works and needed to learn more! A few months after massage school I enrolled at Texas Health and Science University to obtain my Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine. After 5 years, I have finally earned my license and am beyond excited to implement the magic of Chinese Medicine into my practice. I specialize in chronic pain relief and injury rehabilitation, combining several different modalities and techniques that I am trained and certified in. I believe that my past experience in social work has prepared me to succeed as a healer due to my intrinsic desire to want to help people become the best versions of themselves. In January of 2026, I will be starting my Doctorate, to dive in even deeper to the vastness of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
