My office is CLOSED due to icy roads. PLEASE, stay off the road and if you must go outside, PLEASE walk in the crunchy stuff... AVOID CONCRETE as if it were LAVA. I can't reference it, but I'm my experience, Gravity will throw you down, harder and faster, when ICE is involved. Feel free to call, 318-282-4298 for at home pain mgt advice, but I doubt I'll be in the office before Wednesday... And I recommend that you call before you come, just to make sure. Stay safe and warm.

If all we ever do is talk about the bad, we will miss the good every single time.
And down here in the South, the good is tucked in places you will never find if you are too busy complaining to look.

It is in the little eating spots where the menu is worn and the sweet tea is sweet enough to fix most things.
It’s in the place with the best fried chicken, where the grease pops and the line is long because everybody knows it is worth waiting.

It’s in the backroad boutiques with the squeaky floors, friendly hellos, and the kind of deals you only find if you slow down and start looking.

It is in the gas station with the best plate lunches, the biscuit that melts in your mouth, and the cashier who remembers your name.

The South is front porch talking, Sunday driving, and neighbors checking on neighbors.

It is stories passed down, recipes shared, and kindness that shows up quiet but steady.

If you only talk about what is wrong, you will never notice what is right.

But if you start looking for the gems, you will find them everywhere.

They have been here all along, just waiting for folks willing to see the beauty instead of missing it.

Happy 2026! I'm in the office today until 5-ish. We have an appt tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon, so I'll be here 9 - 11:30 and 3 - 5pm. After that we should be back on track. I did shift my opening time to 9am, but the rest is the same for now. You can reach me at 318-282-4298.
