Our Halloween celebration began with Music Bingo, a highly anticipated activity where our residents sing along and test their knowledge of the songs played by our guests. The day continued with a Halloween party organized by our outstanding Activities Department. Our residents had a delightful time savoring the appetizing Oreo bars, meatballs, and cocktail weiners. The celebration featured games, costumes, and trick-or-treating, rendering it an unforgettable Halloween.

The monthly visit from Debbie Prosser Ministries is a cherished tradition among our residents. Music entertainment is a universal source of joy, allowing our residents to either participate through song or simply bask in the melody.

Yesterday, our Activities Department hosted a Halloween Pet Parade, which proved to be a memorable experience for our residents! 🤗 🐶 We extend our gratitude to those who brought their pets in costume. The residents cherished every moment with the animals, and the costumes made it an extra special treat. Activities like this can play a significant role in reducing loneliness, stress, and anxiety, while also enhancing cognitive function and promoting social interaction among our residents.

Our Activities Department is having an outstanding month, offering a variety of Fall/Halloween events. On Thursday, our residents engaged in a craft day, using a fork to create stunning works of art that highlighted their creativity and talent. Every Friday, our residents eagerly await the homemade treats prepared by our Activities Director, Julie. This Friday, she outdid herself with a mouthwatering cinnamon roll cake accompanied by cream cheese frosting, yum!

Mark your calendars! Saturday October 25th we're having a Halloween Pet Parade! This is an event where staff, residents, or volunteers can bring their costumed pets in to entertain and provide companionship to our residents, fostering joy and reducing anxiety.

Yesterday was a great day for a movie 🎥 🍿. Casper, the friendly Ghost, always manages to provide the spookiness of Halloween, as well as the comedy to make our residents laugh and enjoy themselves!

Friday was filled with a variety of activities for our residents. We commenced the morning with the beautiful music of George Mann, which brought immense joy to our residents. Later, we initiated the weekend with an ice cream social, a consistently delightful treat.
