Reality Check GOW

Reality Check GOW Reality Check GOW is funded by the New York Tobacco Control Program. Our group specifically covers Genesee, Orleans, and Wyoming Counties.

We engage community leaders and other youth to help change policies and norms about tobacco and tobacco use. Reality Check:
a youth-based group fighting against the tobacco industry, informing many of the dangers of smoking and the lies posted by the companies. Trying to achieve smoke free communities, and reduce secondhand smoke exposure (with smoke free housing) are just a few of our goals.

Our Mission

Reality Check is a youth-based and adult-supported group that works endlessly around New York State to ensure you can live your best and healthiest life, to keep Big To***co at bay from preying on today’s unaware youth, and to educate all.

Reality Check GOW is one of the various group scattered throughout the state in order to cover smaller areas and make bigger impacts. We cover Genesee, Orleans, and Wyoming Counties. Supported by our wonderful coordinator, Brittany Bozzer, and our community educator, Julie Calvert, we are able to fight for these goals together.

We meet every week to discuss the future of our group, and what event we should tackle next. We take our mission very seriously, and will not stop until something is done to take the targets off of our backs. We urge you to take this message seriously too, and grant us your support in any way possible. Its time for you to open your eyes and realize that to***co companies do not actually care about your well being, but that they just see you as dollar signs and replacement smokers.
