👋 Welcome Dr. Olivia Musilli to Batavia Family Medicine!

Dr. Musilli takes care of patients of all ages. She is especially interested in helping people stay healthy, managing conditions like diabetes, supporting those with addiction, and using hands-on techniques to ease pain and improve health.

Outside of work, Dr. Musilli enjoys playing piano, reading, cooking new recipes, learning languages, traveling, and celebrating her Polish and Italian traditions. 🇵🇱 🇮🇹

Big news from our Emergency Department! 🎉

We’re proud to share that our ED team has received the Lantern Award from the Emergency Nurses Association—a national honor recognizing excellence in emergency care, leadership, innovation, and teamwork.

Our team, led by Wendy Spence and Wanda Irwin, cares for over 25,000 patients a year—but it’s not the numbers that define them. It’s the way they make people feel, reflected in the feedback received directly from patients:

A new RTS Genesee Express Service is now connecting the City Centre hub directly to our Batavia Medical Campus—with four loop options to choose from. It’s a fast, reliable ride to the care you need, right in your community.

This new route was made possible by a partnership between RTS Genesee and Rochester Regional Health and is fully subsidized to help make care more accessible for everyone.

We had a great time hosting local Girl Scouts for a special “Stroke Superstar” Patch event! 🧠

UMMC team members partnered with the Girl Scouts of Western New York to teach future leaders how to recognize the signs of a stroke and how to act fast in an emergency - because knowledge saves lives.

The scouts also got a behind-the-scenes look at UMMC, explored medical equipment and an ambulance, met real-life healthcare heroes, and even donated handmade blankets to patients at Lipson Cancer Center.

Huge thanks to our team members who made this experience so meaningful, and to the Girl Scouts for their generous hearts and eagerness to learn. We’re proud to partner in building a healthier, safer community - one patch at a time! 👏 🩵
