We are doing a Crossroads St. Patrick’s Day fundraiser! Local musician Kent Ewell has made a cd of all original music and has graciously donated a few for Crossroads House. First come first serve. Cash only and you must pick up at 542 East Main Street Batavia. (Asking for a $10-20 donation). we also will have them for sale or purchase after the fundraiser.

A couple months ago I came across an older gentleman who grew 17 foot tall corn. He wanted a local news source to publish it in print. They would not return his calls. So I called and they would not return my calls. So David and I went out to his home and cut down some corn (only 15 plus footers were left). We brought it home and decided to make a large Paul Bunyan style tape measure. We placed it out in front of the office (see pictures). We are asking anyone who can, to come and take your photo with your families and the giant corn stalks. Then we were hoping you would post the pictures here or on my Licata Chiropractic & Wellness Center page and I will print them out and give to this gentleman. We think it will make his day!

Another wonderful fall fundraiser is headed your way! Crossroads House would like to thank everyone who came to the Genesee Country Farmers' Market last Friday, donated to our mission, and walked away with a colorful floral bouquet thanks to Rooted in Joy Farm! This Friday from 9-4 (or until sold out) is the last day for this event. Dr. Sandy Licata of Licata Chiropractic & Wellness Center is sharing the bounty from her family garden! Stop by her office at 542 E Main Street Batavia, and for a donation of any amount to Crossroads House, you may have your pick from their harvest of cornstalks, gourds, and pumpkins! (one pumpkin per person, please) They will be in the office to accept your donations on MWF from 930am to 1215pm, and Thursdays from 930am to 1215pm and 3-5pm.
