There’s a lot of care that goes into this space, and sometimes it shows up in quiet, living ways. 🌱 Hi its Cheryl and I love plants (especially my shop assistant, 🪴 Harriet)
When we first moved into this brick-and-mortar shop (Aug 2023), Harriet came with from our first location on River St as a small plant. Just a few leaves but plenty of promise for a Hairy "Red Bristle" Philodendron.
Over the years, with steady light, consistent care, and room to grow, she’s (we've?) done exactly that. Harriet has climbed all the way toward the ceiling and blooms regularly.
I feel a lot of kinship with that, especially in this gentle stretch between Christmas and the New Year. A time to reflect and see just how far we've come.
This quiet time doesn’t ask us to reinvent ourselves. It invites us to settle, tend and trust what’s already unfolding. And that's how we are approaching 2026... a trust in the process, a knowing we will continue to grow in new ways beyond anything I could dream myself.
Stop in for plant talk, warm sips and a calm place to land for a bit, we’d love to see you.
We’re open today (Sunday) from 10–4, and we’re also shipping orders out for those shopping from afar. By the way, we are closed on Thurs Jan 1.
