Owner Jerry C. Deese is excited to be part of the Aiken community and to continue serving families during life’s most important moments. With over two decades of experience, Jerry brings both professionalism and a personal touch to every family he works with.

A native of Hartsville, South Carolina, Jerry has spent years serving families in the Columbia/Lexington area before taking ownership of Milton Shealy Funeral Home in 2021. He holds an Associate of Arts Degree from Commonwealth Institute of Mortuary Science in Houston, Texas, is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in South Carolina, and is certified by the National Funeral Directors Association as a crematory operator.

More than his credentials, Jerry is known for his heart—his dedication to helping families honor, celebrate, and remember their loved ones in meaningful ways.

Outside of his work, Jerry is a proud father to his son, Jaydan, and enjoys life at home with his dogs—Reesie, Riley, Ryder, and Roscoe.
