Debbie Woods (right), CES Waiver Director at Network of Community Options, Inc., spoke to Batesville School District employees at The Hub, located on College Street in downtown Batesville earlier this week. Groups represented included Parents As Teachers, Save the Children, 100 Families, and Safe Care. Woods shared information about the value of CES Waiver services to eligible individuals. She said the Waiver qualifies individuals who meet the criteria for institutional care to receive many of those supportive services in their home and community. Also pictured is Andrea Bruner, NCO Administrative -Programs Director. Both stressed the importance of families applying for Waiver status as soon as possible, as there can be a waitlist. At NCO, Inc., we love seeing our families find creative ways to stay active and engaged!
On Thursday, Eysiah, Loreena, and their friend Randy took advantage of the cleared paths in Yellville for a brisk winter walk. Despite the 34-degree temperature, they enjoyed a well-deserved break from being snowed in. It’s a great reminder of the importance of getting outdoors and staying connected to our local communities — no matter the weather! 🧤⛰️

Snow days continue, but is finding ways to stay busy. Cheyenne Davis and her Direct Support Professional, Sheina, visited Cranfield Lake in Mountain Home, while Layne Cathey worked hard helping clear the driveway at the Russell J. Stuebing Home in Ash Flat. Angela Green explored the beauty of the outdoors. The residents at the Scott Street group home in Jonesboro enjoy a fun lunch together, and although the sleet with the snow hasn't been as much fun, Ayden has managed to enjoy some sledding and a few other activities outside, Amanda Lewis says. In the bottom right photo, DSP Lindsay Staranowicz says, "Dalton and I are staying warm by telling jokes and laughing together!"
