Hi Friends!

I started this new Spirit led Interactive Experience and YOU are invited!!! Come play with us next Friday at Luna Center in Bath (across from high school). This is the opposite of performance based music. We are making various sounds, experimenting, creating, and letting our inner children out to play! This will be a safe space for raising our vibration with spiritual connection, joy, peace, and love. Bring any musical instruments, make-shift instruments, or just your voice. We encourage sharing with the instruments to improve the experience, but you can keep something aside if you're not comfortable sharing it.

This is an intentional experience. No drugs, alcohol, or electronics use allowed. I will guide us in a meditation at the beginning and the end. We will set intentions and raise the vibration of the room, and the world. Your $5-$15 (sliding scale) will go to Luna Center for use of the love-filled space. Cash or Venmo accepted upon arrival. I would LOVE to see you there, or at a future event!

As summer turns her beautiful face our way once again, let us take a moment to honor and appreciate a member of our community: Badger Compton. Badger’s main job is being a Wayshower. His mere presence softens the breath and relaxes the body. With a heart as big as the island of Oahu, he leads by example—showing how to navigate this thorny world by using the power of the breath, movement, and sound. Badger teaches Pickleball at the YMCA, Acroyoga, and how to be a kind-hearted human in Nature. Badger is a leader in the Lansing area men’s group, Galvanized, and was recently a featured guest for the June The Healing Feast. He also stewards two toddlers and is a partner to the effulgent KI Mary.

Badger was born and raised in North Carolina, has lived in Costa Rica, South Carolina, Washington, and Hawaii, and is a veteran of the US Navy. A Nature lover to the core, Badger has attended Wilderness Awareness School and loves foraging, tracking, and animals of all kinds. He and his family moved to Michigan in 2022 and have been a blessing to our community ever since.

If you have not experienced Badger’s presence and talent, a good place to start would be at one of the Soundscape Journeys that Luna occasionally hosts. He serenades participants with his voice and plays the didgeridoo, Buffalo Drum, Native American flute, crystal bowls, and gong.

Thank you, Badger, for showing that expressing one’s feelings, being vulnerable, and asking for what one wants does not diminish a man’s masculinity in the least. The world needs more of the kindness you embody. The world needs more men like you. We appreciate you, and we love you.
