The Steuben Prevention Coalition Opioid Committee is pleased to announce the installation of 87 Emergency Narcan Wall Units across the region. Of these, 68 units have been placed in Steuben County, with the remainder located in Chemung and Schuyler Counties. Narcan is a life-saving medication used to reverse opioid overdoses without causing harm. The Opioid Committee currently has 28 additional wall units available for placement in Steuben County. These units were purchased with Opioid Settlement Funds awarded to Steuben County. If you are interested in obtaining a free wall unit for your office or agency, please contact Connie Terry, Program Assistant for the Opioid Committee.
