One of those vital positions is the Mental Health Technician, a key member of the care team who helps create a safe, therapeutic environment for patients during one of the most important periods of their lives.
What this role typically requires:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience in behavioral or mental health
• Inpatient experience (highly preferred)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (highly preferred)
• Mental Health Technician certification (highly desired)
• Crisis/Violence Intervention Training (preferred)
