Vehicle Defense Tactics
A focused, scenario-driven class teaching how to avoid, survive, and manage violent encounters that happen inside, outside, or around vehicles. Combines threat recognition, vehicle-centered fi****ms fundamentals, movement and cover tactics, evasive driving concepts, and immediate casualty care — all taught with an emphasis on safety, and legality.

Course goals / learning objectives

By the end of the class participants will be able to:

1. Recognize high-risk vehicle scenarios and apply avoidance and de-escalation options.

2. Apply safe weapon handling and retention practices while seated in a vehicle and when transitioning in/out.

3. Use the vehicle’s geometry to create concealment and cover, and move tactically around the vehicle.

4. Execute basic, defensible exits and re-entries that maximize safety and options.

5. Perform lifesaving immediate casualty care (bleeding control, tourniquet, wound packing, safe extraction principles) for wounds sustained in vehicle encounters.

6. Understand legal, ethical, and post-incident responsibilities (notification, evidence preservation.
