During each of our Tai Chi/Qigong sessions I try to take participants to a happy place… like the beach, the mountains or somewhere beautiful and relaxing. Well, with my birthday coming up, my Tuesday ladies surprised me with a trip to Paris, in our minds at least. They even dressed me up as a Frenchman. So much fun!

It was a great Sunday. I had the pleasure of presenting to several hundred soldiers preparing for deployment to spots across the world - Yellow Ribbon - Pre-deployment event. The topic was “Just Breathe” and we talked about the effects of inefficient breathing on our mental health. Thank you Karla Allen and Colleen Huber for having me and all the inspiring soldiers who welcomed me and embraced the ideas I offered for lowering stress and proper breathing!

Wow! What a great reception today. I just love telling everyone about Tai Chi, Qigong and energy work to de-escalate stress anxiety and PTSD! I even got to bust out my organ shirt to demonstrate what the effect of these movements have on our internal organs and emotions.

Veterans are eligible for up to 30 sessions of Tai Chi that can be done in person or via Zoom.
