Thank you to Soror Clara Brown, RN, who came to chapters Healthy Sigma Sunday. Nurse Brown and her trusty assistant Asheba checked the brothers blood pressure and gave an important presentation on hypertension and signs to be on alert for. It was greatly appreciated. We all will be continuing to watch your journey to Nurse Practitioner. Early congratulations on your May 2026 graduation.

The OBSigmas and the Brothers of Rho chapter at Southern University joined our adopted school Park Medical Magnet in celebration of Historically Black Colleges and Univesities (HBCUs). Each class was given the task of representing a different HBCU for a parade that was held in the surrounding area. The students did a great job and learned a lot about HBCUs and the opportunities they bring. Great Job Cubs!

Shout out to OBSigma brothers C.J. CJ Johnson and Andre Nunley who participated in the Run the Runway 5K at the Greater Baton Rouge Airport today. In addition to promoting Sigma's Project S.E.E.D. they brought a spoltlight to the importance of daily exercise as the chapter promotes Diabetes Awareness Month. Great job brothers.

Today the OBSigmas had the pleasure of working with Brother DeShannon Jones and his foundation who gave turkeys to members if the Plaquemine, La community. Iberville is part of the chapters service area. Thank you for extending to us the opportunity to serve. See you next year.
