This past weekend, I went to a Bollywood music concert with some amazing friends…
And I didn’t realize how much I needed it.

Not because it was fancy.� Not because I looked a certain way.� But because I let myself go...fully.

I danced. I sang. I laughed.� And for the first time in a long time, I wasn’t “Dr. Keta.”� Not “Mommy.” Not “Wife.”�
Just me.

It brought back so many memories....pure nostalgia.� And I forgot just how much Bollywood music and dancing is a part of me.�

Give me 90s Bollywood music and I could sing and dance all day.

But more than that?
It reminded me what it feels like to stop worrying-� About what needs to get done,� What people will say,� Or how we’re being seen.

We don’t have to earn joy.� We don’t always need a reason to feel good.� Sometimes, we just need to give ourselves permission to be.

👉 Movement can be therapy.�
🎶 Music can be medicine.�
💃 Joy can be healing.

You’re not ready for my weirdest craving…

Ok… don’t judge me 😂

My go-to comfort food when I’m stressed?
A peanut butter and pickled jalapeño sandwich.
No jelly.
Just peanut butter on both slices and a serious layer of jalapeños in between.

Sounds wild, I know… but it hits like a quick bite of Thai food.
And besides Indian food, Thai and Mexican are my favorites.
It’s sweet, spicy, and weirdly satisfying.
I craved it and ate it through both of my pregnancies.

And while this one might seem random, generally cravings are never just random.
They’re often your body’s way of saying:
– “Hey, I’m stressed.”
– “I’m running low on nutrients.”
– “I need comfort right now.”
– Or sometimes… “I’ve been ignored too long and now I’m yelling.”

Hormones, gut health, sleep, emotional needs all play into what your body wants (and how loudly it asks).

This is one of the first things I help my clients understand.
Not just what they’re craving… but why.
Because when you know the why, it’s easier to nourish your body in a way that actually feels good. No guilt, no shame, no extremes.
